Chen Hutson

Chief Financial Officer

Chen Hutson joined Prospect Partners in 2016, and is responsible for the firm’s accounting, regulatory and financial reporting functions. Previously, she spent seven years as a Senior Assurance Manager at RSM US LLP (formerly McGladrey LLP), a leading audit, tax and consulting firm, in both Chicago and Orlando. At RSM, Chen was responsible for leading financial statement audits for middle-market business development companies, as well as advising private equity firm CFOs on debt and equity deal structures within fund-of-fund portfolios. She also worked as an MBA Private Equity Associate at High Street Capital, a middle-market private equity firm in Chicago.

Chen earned a B.S. and an M.S. from the University of Central Florida, and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She also is a Certified Public Accountant.
