Laura Juarez

Financial Operating Partner

Laura joined Prospect Partners in 2023. As a Financial Operating Partner, she drives value creation across the Prospect portfolio focusing on the finance function. Laura has more than 15 years of experience leading the finance and accounting functions for growing middle-market businesses and has been a multiple-time CFO for highly acquisitive PE-backed companies across a variety of industries. She is also a certified public accountant who began her career in public accounting at a national firm specializing in non-profit and employee benefit plan audits.

Before joining Prospect, Laura held the role of Chief Financial Officer of Aesop Auto Parts which is a supplier of recycled auto parts. Prior to Aesop, she was the CFO at Envista Forensics, a global forensic consulting and engineering services firm. She also held various roles at Cole-Parmer, a manufacturer and distributor of scientific products, including both corporate controller and senior director of finance. Earlier in her career, she was in multiple Midwest regional finance and accounting positions at United Rentals.

Laura earned a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University. She resides in Grayslake with her husband and her two high school aged sons. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors and volunteering. She is nearing completion of a personal goal to visit all fifty states.
